Hey South Florida! Looking for something exciting to do this weekend? Embrace your artistic side at the 22nd Annual Street Painting Festival held on February 20th and 21st. Come observe more than 600 featured visiting and local artists show off their talent through pastel drawings on the streets of downtown Lake Worth! The festival starts both days at 10:00a.m. and admission is free and open to the public. The works produced at this 2 day festival are absolutely extraordinary and it would be a shame to miss out on such an exciting event.
For those of you who have or know children under the age of 12, bring them to the Children’s Meadow, held at 11a.m. to 4p.m. In this area, free of charge, children can come create brilliant chalk work of their own in a corner designated specifically for them. If they don’t feel like drawing, they’re sure to enjoy the live music and food stands at the festival. There’s something for everyone.
While there, make sure to stop by DMAC’s booth, located on Lake Avenue and K Street, just west of the intersection. Our booth will be open from 10-6 on both days, some come check us out for some general information and see some spectacular student work.
The 22nd Annual Street Painting Festival is an event that you absolutely don’t want to skip. Stop by for an hour or enjoy the entirety of both days, but definitely don’t miss out.
We’ll see you there!
